This site collects as little as it can. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising scripts anywhere on it. Nothing follows you between sites, and nothing profiles you.
Who we are
Syntra Logic LLC, a limited liability company registered in Florida and based in Port Charlotte, Florida, United States. We trade as Syntra Logic, and we are the data controller for anything described on this page. For any request under it, contact otr-world@pm.me.
What we collect
Only what you type and send. If you use the contact form or the automation check, we receive what you filled in:
- Your name and email address
- Company name, topic and budget range, if you chose to give them
- The message or the answers you gave in the automation check
If you never submit either, we receive nothing beyond the server logs described below.
Why, and on what basis
To reply to you, and to work out whether we can help. We use it for that and nothing else. We do not send marketing, we do not build a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.
In GDPR terms the lawful bases are Article 6(1)(b) (steps taken at your request before entering a contract) and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering people who contact a business asking it to quote for work. You asked us a question; replying to it is the whole purpose. We do not rely on consent, so there is nothing for you to withdraw.
Who processes it
- Web3Forms
- Delivers form and chat submissions to our inbox. Your submission passes through their service on the way to us.
- Cloudflare
- Hosts and serves this site. Like any web server, their systems process your IP address and request details to deliver the page and to block abuse.
- Frankfurter
- Publishes the exchange rates behind the currency switcher. Nothing is requested from them unless you actually pick a non-dollar currency, so most visits never contact them at all.
- Proton Mail
- Hosts the inbox your message arrives in and where it is then stored.
Storage in your own browser
If you start filling in the contact form and navigate away, the site saves your partly-typed answers in your browser's session storage so you do not lose them. That never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and is erased when you close the tab. It is not a cookie and is not used to identify you.
If you switch the display currency, that choice is kept in your browser's
local storage so the site remembers it next time. It holds one value, a currency code such as EUR. It is not a cookie, is
never sent to us, and identifies nobody.
Both are storage you asked for by using the feature, which is why the site does not show a consent banner: there is nothing here that consent rules require one for, and a banner asking permission for nothing would be theatre.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our inbox as business correspondence. If we do not end up working together, we delete the thread once it is clearly no longer needed. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Where your message goes
We are a United States company, so a message you send reaches us in the United States. When you type into the form and submit it, you are sending your own details straight to us. That is not a transfer between two companies, so the transfer rules in Chapter V of the GDPR do not apply to it. Where we do use suppliers who handle the data on our behalf, they are bound by data-processing terms and, where relevant, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
If the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access: ask what we hold about you and get a copy
- Rectification: have anything wrong corrected
- Erasure: ask us to delete it
- Restriction: ask us to stop using it while something is disputed
- Objection: object to our relying on legitimate interests
- Portability: receive what you gave us in a portable format
Email otr-world@pm.me and we will action it within one month. There is no account to close and no subscription to unsubscribe from, because we do not create either. You will never be charged for asking, and asking will not affect how we deal with you.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first, as it is usually a faster fix. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority without going through us: in the EU, the data protection authority of the country you live or work in; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
If we work together
Everything above is about this website. If you engage us and we handle data belonging to your customers or staff, the roles reverse: you decide what happens to that data and we act on your instructions, under a written data-processing agreement. How we handle it, and the rule that we ask for made-up data rather than real records wherever the work allows, is set out on how we handle client data.
Changes
If this page changes materially, the date above changes with it.
